COMMUNITY RULES
You can disagree here. You can judge. You can tell someone their husband is being ridiculous.
You cannot stalk people, expose private information, threaten anyone, or turn a disagreement about birthday parties into an international incident.
Mom WTF is built for arguments worth having. Not outrage bait. Not rage farming. Not parenting advice. Not cruelty dressed up as honesty.
Readers should leave smiling, even if they disagreed.
THE ACTUAL RULES
01
Disagree with what someone said. Do not attack their body, children, identity, appearance, disability, or personal life.
02
Do not identify children, schools, workplaces, neighbors, teachers, doctors, exes, or the woman from the PTA who is absolutely going to know the story is about her.
03
No phone numbers, addresses, usernames, license plates, school names, medical details, or screenshots that expose someone who did not volunteer for internet court.
04
Do not threaten people, follow them across posts, contact them elsewhere, or make them afraid to participate.
05
People make different choices. You do not need to prove that you alone deserve the commemorative Mother of the Year tote bag.
06
No spam, affiliate links, MLM pitches, suspicious miracle products, or dropping the same business link into every conversation.
07
Talk about the situation. Do not insult a child, diagnose them from a paragraph, or turn their private life into entertainment.
08
Being blunt is allowed. Being cruel and calling it honesty is not the same thing.
SUBMISSIONS
Polls, stories, screenshots, and tips may be shortened, cleaned up, anonymized, retitled, combined, held, or declined.
We may remove identifying details. We may fix obvious spelling. We may tighten the setup so readers can understand what happened before they die of old age.
MODERATION
Mom WTF may remove comments, submissions, accounts, links, or anything else that makes the site worse, puts someone at risk, creates legal trouble, or turns a normal argument into a dumpster with WiFi.
We do not owe every removal a courtroom hearing, committee meeting, or twelve part explanation.
Use the report option when available, or contact us with the page link and a short explanation. Do not start a second fight about the first fight.
If the answer is no, rewrite it. If the answer is yes and you are still being awful, that is a separate issue.
Read the latest debates or submit the question your house cannot settle.
