My neighbor knocked on my door at 7:30 in the morning to tell me my trash cans were placed incorrectly.
They were at the curb. The lids were closed. Nothing was spilling out. But one can was apparently angled toward his property.
He demonstrated the correct placement using his own cans and a tape measure.
I moved mine because I had not had coffee and did not have the strength to become a neighborhood legend before breakfast.
Now I am tempted to put them out with a level and surveying flags next week.
Would that be funny, or would I be starting a war over municipal plastic?
