My adult son lives at home and pays a small amount every month.
I was fine with it at first because he was saving money. Except he is not really saving. He is buying shoes, takeout and concert tickets while using my laundry soap like it is free rainwater.
He eats everything. Not some things. Everything. I bought sandwich meat Monday and by Tuesday there was one sad corner left in the package.
He also thinks putting one cup in the dishwasher counts as helping.
I love him. I also did not expect to still be financially supporting a grown man with better sneakers than me.
Would raising his rent be fair, or am I being greedy?
